Just a quick note on Mike's condition which you can pass on to everyone
else. He made it through his medical procedure at Deborah Hospital on
Monday with flying colors; however he isn't completely out of the woods
yet. I'm sure he would appreciate any support he might receive from us
in the form of cards, letters or phone calls since the only next of kin
he has is one cousin and a few friends. I plan to visit with him once he
feels up to it maybe tomorrow. His mood has improved and he is feeling
better thanks to the calls some of our classmates have made. Nothing
worse than feeling like you're all alone in the world. I'll keep you
updated.
Mike's Room number was 3419B and his phone number was 609-893-6611;
however after the procedure he was moved. I doubt that he will go back to
that room. Your best bet is to call Deborah's main number and ask to
speak with him. He really enjoys talking with the classmates as we remain a
connection to each other through our common experiences at SJHS.

Hi Gang,
Hope Everyone is Well
I got some news today from my sister. She works at Deborah Hospital in
Browns Mills, NJ. She found out that one of our classmates, Mike Trost,
was admitted to the Deborah Hospital this week. He is in very bad shape
and very depressed. He told her he has no family and just one friend at
this point in his life. Over the past 10 years he has been sick with
diabetes. The disease has ruined his heart and other vital organs. He is
going to have a procedure done on Monday 6/21/04. It's very serious and
the outcome is questionable. I'm going to try to see him or at least
call the hospital to talk with him. Please keep him in your prayers!
I'll let you know the outcome of his procedure on Monday. I'll also try
to get the room number and his phone number.
